The sexiest of all the flowers, leaving roses pale and gasping in their wake. Pulsing, daring, expecting, lurid, lascivious and luscious.
How could they ever have aligned themselves with witless school boys and prom night?
Telling tales from around the world
Yea how did they get equated with prom night? that’s a good question.

Thank you for the wonderful Orchids. The beautiful flowers gave an art therapy class while viewing them. You have cleared my dark thoughts on the meaning of life- thank you!

I went to four proms, just no orchid, only those baby roses . . . I do recall a florist advising me against ordering an orchid corsage for my son’s date one year, saying they don’t stand up. Perhaps orchids in this area just aren’t as hardy?
