After the Landing

I was there. I saw it. And now you have too.

This is the 600th image in the series. Hard to believe that!

      1. Oh – and I was going to comment – about the 600… It started out as a project learning Photoshop. I had taken a couple of short courses, but didn’t seem to be getting the hang of it, so I started a project doing one photo a day, learning a new photoshop skill each day, or doing tutorials. I look at some of the early ones and they were pretty bad, but they really evolved and became an interesting diary of sorts because there was a story or poem with almost all of them.
And they did improved my photoshop skills – and my photography because I was analysing my photos so closely… And somewhere along the line, I began doing less and less Photoshop and focussed on the photography… But there is always a story…

    1. Free Photoshop! Seriously, if you don’t mind using CS2, Photoshop is no longer going to support the product so they are giving it away, including the serial numbers for all the create suite products including Photoshop and Illustrator. http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/index.html
I downloaded it and have been using Photoshop CS2 since yesterday and it has all the tools I usually use – layers, masking, blending, brushes which work exactly the same way more current versions do. It’s missing some of the high-end bells and whistles that I don’t normally use anyway. Definitely worth getting if you have been wanting to get Photoshop but not shelling out over a thousand dollars for it.

      1. Actually, I shelled out for the whole Adobe Creative Suite back in 2007. I don’t regret it, and I paid the educator’s price, but it’s ps3
