Melbourne is a city full of reflections – everywhere I turned it seemed there was another version of everything. Here is a pair of pied cormorants enjoying the sunny day. The sky really was this mad shade of blue.

Falcon Flight
Another shot of the NZ falcon – soaring… Really, really fast – this was snapped at 1/8000th of a second. Trying to track and shoot something moving that fast was a bit of a challenge, but very satisfying.

There’s a die-hard, unbreakable rule that says you can never ever expect a photo taken from an airplane window to be taken seriously. I’m in a rule-breaking frame of mind. These here are the Remarkables, part of the Southern Alps.
