The old section of Waikumete is deliberately allowed to go feral in the spring and summer – it’s a wild and slightly spooky place, fragrant with wildflowers and allergy-inducing pollens. But to be there at night with the moon overhead…

Cemetery ramble

It’s not that I love spending so much time in cemeteries… it’s just that they are so photogenic. Thi sis another from the old part of Auckland’s Waikumete Cemetery in West Auckland. Perfect place to bring a blanket and a picnic lunch.
