Tiritiri Tomtit

Revisiting my photos from Tiritiri Matangi Island in January. The Takahe were such scene stealers, quiet little birds like this sweet little tomtit just can’t compete. Not that it’s a competition. But here’s his chance to shine.

    • Thank you! I wish his eye had been a bit sharper. I’m doing a NZ native birds project and he would have made a nice addition…

      • You know, it was his eye that actually drew me in. I thought that the eye was really a good focal point.

      • Agreed – that’s why I wish it was just that little bit sharper, because then it would have been a competition quality image… There will be others. And I still do love this one…
