One sheep keeping watch

with 10 comments

Sheep are just so… sheepish. You stop the car and they run for the hills – or at least to the other side of the paddock. They’re sheep. It’s what they do.

But you’ve got to admire that one sheep, that one that will stand its ground, with a bit of curiosity, with a bit of chutzpah. I like this sheep for its un-sheepish qualities.

  3. Lovely picture. šŸ™‚ Humour the idiot English girl – is the grass actually white, or is that frost?

    • It is most definitely frost… NZ is as green as England… possibly greener…

      • come to think of it… I looked again, I think the really white bits are dried grasses that aren’t so green anymore… sooo… hmmm… not sure if there is a ‘right’ answer…

  4. I love all of the different shades of grey, including the sheep, from the bottom up to the sky.
