Telling tales from around the world

Great Pumpkin

It’s a funny sort of autumn, sunny and warm after such a cold, wet summer. We’ve had beautiful evenings, with soft, honey-coloured light on the gardens, playing tag with a light breeze and a pair of cabbage moths who fluttered out of the frame.

  1. Took a moment to get over the surprise you are talking about autumn, as up here we are sure spring will come. Some time… But that’s ten thousands miles away :). I love autumn light!

    • I think it is the most beautiful light of the year… are you in Finland? I was trying to figure out your location on your site, but was not sure. I spent one day in Helsinki a few years ago, meant to get back but have not yet. I would most love to be there in the winter, but then I would have to give up my summer…

      • Yes, in Finland, albeit not Helsinki. But close enough, in Espoo. They are part of the capital region.
