This is what comes of pondering the meaning of life whilst listening to Leonard Cohen. He is naked and he’s filthy and there’s sweat upon his brow. I can’t say the same for me. Shame that.

Great that we can do that. Of course, I think sometimes we have to just get off and walk around a while…

Wow. I can really see what you mean about being in that place with this post. This is simply incredible. I love, love the image and the words. Now tell me, what is it?

It is… really, I don’t know what possesses me to photograph this stuff… but it’s a radial blur close-up of tire tracks on a black sand beach. I set it for a long exposure and zoomed in while the shutter was open. Then I sharpened it a bit and saturated it a bit… and then I wrote a poem.
It makes me think of the universe- stars, black holes and cosmic goo. A la Star Trek for sure (the very first Star Trek).

I wasn’t even close in my guess. I’m amazed at how you take something completely ordinary like tire tracks and morph it into something incredible and extraordinary. You rock, woman.

Wait a minute – I want to amend that… except people going on about what the political opposition ‘really’ wants…
