Happy New Year!

with 6 comments

I have a feeling this will be a challenging year, maybe more than most. But we’ll get through – we always do. Somehow. Somehow this planet of ours keeps spinning on its axis, each perfect turn the makings of one more perfect day. What we do with that is up to us. Fortunately, we get 366 of them this year.

Joy to the World!

  1. Lovely sentiment. So true.

I had forgotten that this was a leap year. We need all of the extra time that we can get. I sure hope that things begin to right themselves a bit this year. I just try to remember that the natural order of things demands that after going to extremes in one way, the balance has to begin to shift at some point.

Happy new year to you and yours.

    • Hmmm… it occurs to me we should all make February 29th special this year. Do something we’ve never done before to commemorate the occasion. Of course it will be tough to top the wedding on the 11th, but I’m game… How about you?

  2. Happy New Year, Titirangi~! Hope yours is off to a great start. I just want to keep extending grace. Our 40th anniversary is in early April so we’ll plan it with extra day in February 🙂

  3. So far so good – though the weather has been disappointing… our summers are so short I demand they be perfect every year.

Extending grace… I like that… a most excellent quest for the new year 🙂

40th anniversary! Oh my! Lucky lucky you… My hubby and I are having our 12th in 2 weeks… sweetest 12 years of my life… and if we live so long, I have no doubt we’d see 40, or 100… Will you be taking a trip? a bit of adventure???
