Dinner is served

I love that moment when everything is ready and on the table, hot and fragrant and you don’t know where to begin… and can’t wait to start…

It was a heavenly meal, ham & salmon with tons of fresh veg and my husband Bobby’s prize-winning onion rolls, ending with a dessert selection one might literally die for – classic cheesecake, peanut butter pie (daughter’s decadent contribution) and lemon meringue pie. Magic.

  1. Looks just grand! Yummers. Our roast turkey with all its trimmings was delicious. The company was jovial, jokes clever and brussel sprouts underdone! One little sprout went ballistic as a very hungry member tried to cut it with a knife. It brought the house down! 😀

  4. Wish that I hadn’t seen this before I’ve had anything to eat today. Sounds and looks delicious.

    • Ha ha! They were hankering to get to the table – and there I was, blocking the entrance to the dining room with my tripod… And I wanted exactly this shot…
