Funny how the comfort foods of childhood can’t be found at home any more… We eat fresher, healthier. But there are times we really need them – and have to know where to find them.

  1. There’s is a Filipino rice soup that I still ask my mother to make when I’m really sick. I’ve deliberately never learned to make it . . . suppose I will need to do so one day.

    1. Don’t wait until it’s too late. I wish I wish I wish I had my grandmother’s recipe for lemon cookies… they were so very lemony – I have never had anything like them since. Not even when I went to Estonia. I tried to find them – but no joy.
