Funny how the comfort foods of childhood can’t be found at home any more… We eat fresher, healthier. But there are times we really need them – and have to know where to find them.
There’s is a Filipino rice soup that I still ask my mother to make when I’m really sick. I’ve deliberately never learned to make it . . . suppose I will need to do so one day.
Don’t wait until it’s too late. I wish I wish I wish I had my grandmother’s recipe for lemon cookies… they were so very lemony – I have never had anything like them since. Not even when I went to Estonia. I tried to find them – but no joy.
Comfort foods are the best. Never to old to need them.

Most people would overlook the still life you presented. You give me such heartfelt grins with that “eye” of yours!

Oh thank you, Ms Dipper… you’re the ‘answer’ to the question, “why’d you take a picture of that?!?”
