White Heron

When I’m too tired to be clever I must retreat to the cheap shot and let mother nature do my work for me. I don’t think she minds.

And… it occurs to me I cropped this one badly – not enough space over her head – makes her look like she’s crouching rather than bending. Oops!

    1. I think a little head room would have implied she might stretch up and we could admire that long graceful neck.On the other hand, I am very happy with the fine detail of her feathers.
      Oh to preen one’s pristine glory – unaware of how rare and precius and fleeting it is… I need grandchildren! Ha ha…
