This shot was taken along the road in Noumea, New Caledonia. It’s a French possession and apparently a fairly popular retirement destination for French civil servants. Nonetheless, it seemed rather ironic.

    • We sure can – and that goes for all of us… I think we all see our own cultures as the most logical, sensible and proper way to live…
      Do you think this woman’s teenage daughter owns or wants a pair of Guess Jeans?


  2. I certainly agree – we all need to do an inventory on our attitudes/cultures/modus operandi that infringe upon others.

    About the jeans – With today’s technology, the daughter could own a pair AND want the jeep!

  3. How utterly bizarre: That woman’s cotton dress paired with a picture of the “beautiful people.” I really wonder what people are thinking sometimes.
