I think I mentioned the cactus in Aruba the other day in my lighthouse post. I didn’t mention just how magnificent they are. Absolutely towering!

  2. I do believe they make tequila out of cactus. And at least some of them contain water, so if you’re truly parched and possibly dying, attempting to access it will give you something to do while you’re waiting for whatever outcome you’re in for…


    • In Mexico, I once had an egg/cactus scramble for breakfast. It was somewhat runny, but very tasty. Course, it’s pretty hard to spoil an egg scramble when I’m hungry. Thankfully, I didn’t have to “access it”.
