Ha! One of my closest friends is a “first one to arrive, last one to leave” types and we always joke about having to push her out the door. It’s true!
Yes but parties are so much fun. One party I went to bed thinking the one guest would get the hint. When I got up the next day he was asleep on the couch.
At least she is a close friend… I recall one party some years ago where I had to lure some drunk guy I didn’t even know outside to look at the garden or some such and then dashed back into the house, locking the door after me… It was a long time ago, when my parties were much wilder… stuck with me, though…
I found a good (read: loud) recording of God Save the Queen. 🙂
Souldipper – you’re a bloody genius!
When we used to have parties (another lifetime ago), no one would ever leave. We always ended up with people on the couches and floor. Then we’d do breakfast, and they’d help clean up. Fine by me.
I love the abstract technique, by the way.
Same here… were they really 20, 25, 30 years ago???
