Full of colour, relics and reminders, it’s a whole different take on ‘where you go’ after you die. In Mexico it’s rather like moving to a new address. You might even still get your mail…

  1. Mexican cemeteries seem so full of life I think because of the cultural traditions of celebrating the dead. I think that many western culture fear the dead. Personally, I love cemeteries.

    • have you done pencil etchings of old stones? I don’t think they allow it anymore… stones were getting damaged… but I do mean to get to some local cemeteries and shoot, but the best times are dawn and dusk, which are also the spookiest times to be in a cemetery… <>
