Another cyclone???

Cyclone after cyclone after cyclone…. is it such a big ask that we keep Auckland winter weather restricted to Auckland winter??? Ugh!

Cyclone is the southern hemisphere version of a hurricane… They are just as deadly to the tropical islands to the north of New Zealand, but generally speaking, but the time they reach this far south, they are downgraded to tropical storms – nasty and wet and prolonged – some flooding at high tide, but no serious dramas with high winds on the main islands…

This is the remains of Cyclone Wilma… I hate her. I want my summer back!
