Telling tales from around the world

Still waters

leave a comment »

Yesterday I felt daunted by the wildness of the waters to be plumbed before reaching the deeper, still waters. I went in search of still surface water – so much safer, I thought. But no, maybe easier, but not safer – they were full of perils and ickiness and the sorts of things that might not kill you, but could make your skin crawl.

Where’s my wetsuit?
