  1. In August we always know it is indeed summer.
    A lovely sound, welcome and warm.
    In Indiana we experienced one of the 17 yr locust explosions a few yrs back where it was almost deafening day and night and small limbs constantly fell from trees as the critters consumed their meals.

    Cicada Days follow the “Tiger Days of Summer” (have adopted this “Silvia” designation)

    • Wow! I just realised that I have to get Sylvia some Daylilies for her garden! It’s time to bring back the Tiger Days. Round one was simply magnigificent. Those were good days, Justyn… The children were young… the world was so much smaller.
