One sheep keeping watch

Sheep are just so… sheepish. You stop the car and they run for the hills – or at least to the other side of the paddock. They’re sheep. It’s what they do.
But you’ve got to admire that one sheep, that one that will stand its ground, with a bit of curiosity, with a bit of chutzpah. I like this sheep for its un-sheepish qualities.

Great shot you have there! Well taken! =)

Thanks! Getting that sheep to pose was tough!

I think this is so very beautiful.. I love the tones and the fact yo have left him so far in the distance rather than trying to zoom in. Brilliant!

I have to admit that when I saw this sheep up there watching me, I thought of your tiny tree on the horizon last week…

Lovely picture.
Humour the idiot English girl – is the grass actually white, or is that frost?

It is most definitely frost… NZ is as green as England… possibly greener…

I thought it might be some other weed plant thing – but now I feel better. Hooray for gorgeous frost!

come to think of it… I looked again, I think the really white bits are dried grasses that aren’t so green anymore… sooo… hmmm… not sure if there is a ‘right’ answer…

I love all of the different shades of grey, including the sheep, from the bottom up to the sky.

Frosty mornings can be so monochrome… and quiet. This sheep thought she was being stealthy…
